After The Tenth..... When The Fun Really Begins

This has been a tough few days for me. First, I had a work trip that had me in Jamaica for four days. That sounds better than it actually was. It would be more accurate to say I spent 4 days in a Jamaican conference room. The most sun I got was during the ride from the hotel to the client's office. Luckily, I was able to Skype most mornings and get a feel for what was going on back home.

Completely exhausted, I returned to the States last Thursday night, only to awake and have to assist Annie with getting her and the baby to the airport in time to catch their flight to Minnesota. Annie took Macy to meet her Minnesota family members. Mark off another state on Macy's grand tour of the US, this time adding a state I've never visited.

So, I'm now home from my business trip and spending my long weekend alone. Bummer for me.

As an added bonus, Grandpa Kupper met them out there and they are all spending a few days up at the lake house. Needless to say, I'm a bit lonely and pretty jealous that I had to stay home, but someone has to work to pay for all of Macy's flights! (Actually she basically flys for free until she's two, so the free ride exists for another year and a half...something tells me we are going to make the most of those free flights)
