Kupper-Cane Warning

If you live in South Florida, you are well aware of hurricane warnings. For the northerners in our reading audience, a hurricane warning is issued when hurricane force winds have a high probability of striking in 36 hours or less.  So why am I talking about hurricanes? While it is officially hurricane season, the Atlantic Ocean is clear, so no problems there.

However, the Sznitken family is now officially under a Kupper-Cane warning. That's because there is a high likelihood of a large number of fast moving current and former Kuppers descending upon our house within the next 24 hours. Macy is about to be visited by almost the entire maternal side of her family. Forecasters are predicting that tomorrow we will receive one grandfather, one uncle, two aunts and three of her four cousins. On top of that we are also expecting outer bands to contain two more extended family members. (Sarah's parents are also joining the fun)

We are currently hunkering down and preparing the house for the onslaught. Wish us luck and we'll be in touch again once the "storm" passes.
