After The Tenth..... When The Fun Really Begins

I'm going to break from the normal topics and talk about someone besides us today. We just received exciting new from our good friends Joe and Steph. Steph's pregnancy began a few months before ours did and they were all set to have twin girls in August.

It seems that the girls must have figured out how lucky they were to have such amazing parents, because they decided to show up a few weeks early. Unfortunately, their room wasn't ready and neither were they, so they've been hanging out at our local hospital.

Well, we just heard that one of the girls is set to be released from the hospital and is heading home today. We couldn't be happier for them! Now we just need her sister to follow in her footsteps...

Annie and I feel very lucky to have so many friendly people in our lives. We have had a number of  people donate baby related items,which is really great. Have you seen the cost of some baby stuff? MIND BOGGLING. It seems that if you put the words "Wedding" or "Baby" in the description, you can double your price.

So even though we've just begun the accumulation of baby "things", we have come to the quick realization that our house is just too small.

So, I'm putting a call out to carpenters, roofers and general weekend-warriors. Anyone want to come over and help me build a second story onto our home?

While we are at it, a little girl would probably love a pool, so you better bring some shovels too.....
