Macy Sznitken was born at 8:40pm this evening (December 17th, 2009). She weighed in at 7 pounds 10 ounces. Here is a picture that her beaming dad took just moments after she arrived. (I have a feeling that there will be more pictures in the morning.....) You can click on it to expand it.
6pm and dilation was determined to be just about 10 inches** centimeters...so no pun intended, but we might have seen the light at the end of the tunnel.
Hopefully the next post will be about time, weight and a name.....Let the panicking officially BEGIN.
**UPDATED - Please excuse my lack of math skills. If my wife was really dilated 10 inches then the title of this post would be REALLY funny.
It is now 5:20pm and Annie is still the center of attention. (I fully expect that the little one will take over that role, when she finally decides to grace us with her presence) The doctor popped her head in an hour or so ago and said that she would pay us a visit around 5pm. Since its after 5, we are hoping she will be here any minute.....
